December 2012
Dear Friends and Family,
Merry Christmas! Last year at
Christmas time we were so grateful that I was pregnant again. We hoped that
this baby would make it all the way. Now this Christmas, our 4 month old baby,
John Robert Wagner is the most wonderful blessing. We love him with all our
hearts, and we are thankful to have this little miracle in our lives. John was
born, 9 days later than anticipated, on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at 1:09am
weighing 8 lbs. 1oz., and he was 20.5 inches long. We were very thankful he was
born so healthy and strong. There were some complications for me with the
delivery, and my recovery was very long and difficult. I was deeply touched by
all the love, help and prayers extended to us by friends and family. I am getting
a lot better and have just started doing yoga again. I love it! I have also
begun physical therapy so a full recovery is on the way.
With a lot of Heavenly help, I
finished teaching English as a Second Language at Cleveland State University
Spring Semester, despite being miserably sick every day. I hope to teach a
class again in the summer a couple days a week. I also started my new job,
working as an online rater for the TOEFL Writing Test (Test of English as a
Second Language). It is a great blessing to have a job I can do at home while I
take care of John.
Seth is super husband and father.
John and I are so blessed. Seth has taken such good care of both of us in times
of great need and has provided for us so well while juggling all of his other
responsibilities. Seth finished his 2nd year working for PNC
Investments and enjoys his co-workers and his job. Seth has also found a
great hobby of exercising at a gym near his work every weekday morning. He
really likes it and has kept it up for 3 months already.
Seth is still serving in our
church as the ward clerk and I am now the Provident Living Specialist (I am
excited to learn about and help others with emergency and financial
preparedness and self-reliance).
We are thankful for each of you. We love you and pray that you will
find joy, peace and love this Christmas Season. With Love,
Emily, Seth and John
Wagner
