2-28-13 John's 7 Months Old!

Everyone says that children grow up too fast, they have a point. It amazes me to look at John now, and then see pictures of when he was a tiny little baby, well not that tiny, but less than half his size now. He is starting to look and act so grown up, and I don't want to miss a moment.

This next picture looks like John is finishing a broadway song :)

At 7 months John is:
-looking like a little boy instead of a baby because he has 2 teeth now! On the bottom in the front, and he is drooling so much and biting everything in reach, the pediatrician says that his top 2 teeth could follow very soon,

-recovering from a GI/Respiratory Virus that caused the most severe diaper rash I've ever seen and that made poor Baby John absolutely miserable,
-eating homemade baby food like a champ! He started early in February, and was not a fan. He did not know what to do with this strangely textured foreign substance in his mouth. So he would try to gag it out, and then blow it out because he didn't know how to spit, but then he learned how to spit and push it out with his tongue, but we just kept giving him opportunities to try it, and he likes it now! (mostly)

- Getting very talkative and putting more sounds together: mamama, bababa, gah

- really enjoying looking at himself in the mirror
- rolling all around from his tummy to his back and his back to his tummy
- pushing up really tall during tummy time. Crawling can't be too long down the road. No hurry though John! Our house isn't baby proofed yet!
- the most wonderful baby we've ever had! ;) We love him oh so much!

If you look closely through the drool, you can see his 2 teeth!
