"Where'd go?" John wants to know the location of everything he thinks about.
"Tuga, where aRe you?" - tuga is a little bug toy but he has. Tortuga is turtle or tortoise in Spanish, and he has named that toy, turtle, in Spanish apparently. He loves to go around the house saying something's name and "where aRe you?"
Afterwards, even if he doesn't find the item he is looking for, he exclaims "There you are!"
John is currently in love with airplanes and helicopters. It is usually what he tells me about first thing in the morning, and whenever we are outside, or even when he sees a window. he asks where the helicopters and airplanes are. Thankfully, we have a lot fly over our house .
John's vocabulary is exploding in English and Spanish! I am amazed that he can ask me what something is one time, and I tell him the name, and then he just knows it.
When ever we read books, John likes to point to every single thing in the book, and ask "what's this?" Even if he very well knows what it is. He just likes to ask. :-)
John is so good at remembering people and names now. On Saturday night, we took a walk around our apartment complex, (Seth needed to study) and John named many of his little friends, and he even remembered where some of them live! He ran up to their doors to knock to see if they were home. They weren't. :( but we did see a choochoo train!
We sure love our boy!
